The lights go down. The candles come out. The clay is waiting. Welcome to The Séance, an adult-oriented Halloween pottery experience at Adewole Arts. This is not an actual séance. It's an evening of clay, candlelight, music, mystery and a little creative mischief. You'll begin the evening by receiving a creative prompt inspired by themes such as: Protection. Abundance. Love. Transformation. Courage. Joy. Mystery. Release. Desire. Mischief. Then you'll create your own Object of Power. Your object can be a vessel, bowl, candle holder, talisman, sculpture or something entirely of your own invention. There is no right answer. There is no spell to get right. You decide what your object means. We'll provide the clay, materials, tools and guidance. Your finished piece will be dried, fired and finished in the studio after the event.
