What kind of creature lives in your imagination? Come find out. The Monster Mash is a playful, hands-on pottery workshop where you'll create your very own ceramic creature. Cute. Creepy. Grotesque. Adorable. Absolutely unexplainable. Your creature can be anything you want it to be. We'll explore basic sculptural handbuilding techniques as you shape, build and personalize your creature with details, texture and personality. And your creature doesn't have to be purely decorative. Depending on your design, you can turn it into something functional, such as: A planter Candle holder Incense burner Trinket dish Small bowl Spoon rest Wall piece Or just let it be a creature. We'll dry and fire your finished piece after the workshop so you can take your new little monster home once it's complete.
