These tumblers are a tactile tribute to the batik fabrics my mother and I both cherished—so beautiful, we often hesitated to cut them for quilts. Inspired by those beloved textiles, each piece carries wax-resist patterns softened beneath textured glaze and layered slips, creating surfaces that feel both timeworn and alive.
The designs echo the encrustations of deep-sea life—growths that cling to sunken vessels, quietly transforming them into relics. Like those underwater treasures, these cups tell stories of change, chance, and quiet resilience. No two are exactly alike, but each invites touch—offering both function and a moment of reflection.
These tumblers pair beautifully with pieces from the Cream, Gold Waves, and Mirthware collections, yet stand confidently on their own. Made to be held, used, and admired, they bring depth and intention to the everyday—ceramic keepsakes for tea, tonic, or simply taking a pause.

Your pottery is dishwasher safe but hand washing is recommended to preserve the glazing.
